Heading out to get to class. I hesitate—I don’t want to walk without anything to listen to. I start for my iPod… no, I don’t need it: it’s not that long of a walk. Well, I'll just grab it. Why not?
I head out the door, and as I put the earphones on, I see a friend also walking to class. We join up and chat. I had something to listen to, and didn’t need the iPod.
But if it hadn’t make me hesitate, I would have missed my friend.
