From the “surreal” department, I wonder if aliens would invent “Space Invaders.” And, if they would, I wonder what it might look like.

Perhaps, it might look a little something like this:

Looking at it this way, though, the concept seems exceedingly silly, and even almost cruel! You know, with the aliens floating down, trying to eat your little ship, while you visit flaming, plasma death upon their myriad ranks. Why don’t the aliens have ships themselves? Or jetpacks? Or even, why don’t they wear clothes? Why are the aliens presumed to be primal, insectoid monstrosities that like to eat metal and flesh? Why aren’t they a little more, for lack of a better word, human?

And besides, what kind of jerk invades a planet, anyway?
