Mute City

I've been playing with the W3C Canvas tag lately, aiming to create some fun game or toy in web browsers, without requiring a browser plugin. I figured that since this space has been awfully sparse for a very long time, I might as well make some of them available for public consumption.

The first is a Canvas version of the Mode 7 effect made popular in the SNES era, especially by F-Zero. It’s fairly optimized and runs in all major browsers, except for Microsoft Internet Explorer, which is garbage.

It’s available here, and, since I love you, Internet, it’s available under the public domain. Use the arrow keys to glide around!
