Heaven’s Garden
Saturday, 13 January 2007.
There is a garden, high in the heavens, resting upon a thousand clouds. Trees planted by many throughout time, growing evergreen on their impossible perch, wanting for nothing.
Many dream of landing a seed up there, to have a monument of themselves or a loved one, to be a part of some esoteric club, or just to have a part of them survive the ages of the earth, free from the wind and rain and petty strife of the ground far, far below.
But I knew that no matter how I tried, I could never plant a tree up there.
So I never did.
