Autumn
Tuesday, 17 October 2006.
Leaves floated down from the trees, alighting softly upon the ground. They massed, and whirled around in small pools as the breeze shuffled them about.
Autumn had arrived with a chill beneath the wind, and winter was fast approaching. The nights grew longer and the brightness of the sun waned with time, as did the brightness of my spirit.
I was waiting, and she approached with a smile that reinstilled warmth back into my heart; which grew with each step she took towards me. Life seemed to become more difficult with time; but with such a fire, I knew that not only could the trials be weathered, but that they could be prevailed against.
